Prepare the bar! (Preparati la bara!) (translated)

Preparati la bara! (released abroad as Django, Prepare a Coffin and in some markets as Viva Django) is a 1968 Italian spaghetti Western directed by Ferdinando Baldi, from a script Baldi wrote together with Franco Rossetti. Terence Hill heads the cast as Django, the gunslinger first embodied by Franco Nero in Sergio Corbucci's earlier picture; Nero had initially been expected to reprise the part. Producer Manolo Bolognini had also been behind Corbucci's original film.

Alongside Hill, the ensemble features Horst Frank, George Eastman, José Torres, Pinuccio Ardia, Andrea Scotti, Luciano Rossi, Guido Lollobrigida and Alberto Dell'Acqua. The score gained an unexpected afterlife when a portion of it was sampled for Gnarls Barkley's hit "Crazy", while Nicola Di Bari performs the title song. Decades later the film appeared in the spaghetti Western retrospective at the 64th Venice International Film Festival, and it circulated in Germany and France under several alternate titles.
