Revenge of the Flame (İntikam Alevi)

İntikam Alevi ("Revenge of the Flame") is a black-and-white Turkish drama that premiered on November 14, 1956. Osman F. Seden both directed and wrote the film, which was produced by Kemal Film with cinematography by Kriton İlyadis. Ayhan Işık stars as Ekrem, a truck driver wrongly convicted of murder who breaks out of prison; Turgut Özatay plays one of the colleagues who framed him, while Nubar Terziyan appears as a supporting character known as Usta.

The story follows Ekrem as he slips back into Istanbul under an assumed identity to clear his name, aided by old friends and a police inspector — a fugitive-seeking-justice plot typical of the era's Yeşilçam melodramas.
