Babalık

Babalık is a 1974 Turkish film directed by Melih Gülgen. Murat, an ambulance driver at a hospital, cannot make ends meet on his wages and is drawn into a robbery, for which he is sentenced to life in prison. The men behind the gang kill Murat's wife and raise his young son as their own. Years later, as an amnesty approaches, they send the boy into prison to kill Murat, only for the two to discover that they are father and son. Once free, they set out to take revenge on the culprits. Cüneyt Arkın plays the lead, alongside Aytaç Arman, in this action-drama of the Yeşilçam era.
