A Bunch Of Violets (Bir Demet Menekşe)

Bir Demet Menekşe is a 1973 Yeşilçam melodrama directed by Zeki Ökten from a screenplay by novelist Selim İleri. It follows a love story that crosses class lines: Nesrin, a young seamstress at a small tailoring boutique, and Kenan Manizade, a married factory owner, are drawn to each other despite family pressures and social disapproval.

Hale Soygazi and Kartal Tibet star as the two leads, with Nubar Terziyan, Güler Ökten and Şener Şen in supporting roles. According to Sinematürk, the film was produced by Berker İnanoğlu under the Er Film banner, and it uses an instrumental piece by Mikis Theodorakis as its recurring theme.
