The Time That Remains is a 2009 semi-biographical drama written and directed by Palestinian filmmaker Elia Suleiman. Drawing on the diaries in which Suleiman's father recorded the war years and their aftermath, the film chronicles his family's and his own life against the historical upheavals that struck Nazareth in 1948 with the Palestinian Nakba and the creation of the state of Israel, offering an account of Palestinian life under Israeli occupation. The cast includes Elia Suleiman, Ali Suliman and Saleh Bakri.

A French-Israeli-Italian co-production running 109 minutes, the film competed in the official selection at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and was also screened at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival. It went on to win the Jury Grand Prize at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
