Affedilmeyen is a 1966 black-and-white melodrama from Erler Film, directed by Türker İnanoğlu and scripted by Safa Önal and Fuat Özlüer. Yalçın Arkan is a young singer performing in an Istanbul nightclub, where he meets Esin, the niece of wealthy factory owner Kerim Bey. Their acquaintance begins coldly, but piano lessons bring them together and love blossoms. The true threat, however, is Esin's reckless cousin Bahri, who takes her to a tavern, slips a drug into her drink, and takes advantage of her. When Esin turns out to be pregnant, her uncle offers Yalçın one hundred thousand lira to marry her and rescue the family's honor. Feeling that a husband is being bought with money, Yalçın accepts out of vengeance. Bahri then plants narcotics in Yalçın's pocket and informs the police; Esin loses the baby in grief and finally reveals everything to her husband. In the final confrontation Bahri is killed, and Yalçın shoulders the blame to shield the woman he loves, but the court acquits them both.
